Modern dentures restore your quality of life along with your smile. Dr. Aygen designs comfortable and attractive dentures.
Damaged and missing teeth cause a lot of problems. Your mouth may be uncomfortable, you may have trouble speaking or eating your favorite fresh and healthy foods, and you probably feel self-conscious about the way your smile looks. In time, you may have to deal with additional problems, including malnutrition and depression.
This doesn’t have to be the case.
Modern dentures are individually crafted to match your face, your features, and your complexion. The days of blocky, unnaturally white, “fake-looking” dentures are gone. Using advanced imagery techniques and precise measurements, Dr. Aygen can create beautiful dentures that look great and fit comfortably. In many cases, nobody will ever even know that you are wearing dentures!
Personalized Dentures Designed for You
Every smile is different. Teeth come in different shapes and different shades. When teeth are too similar, the result in an unnatural look that is easily noticed. By designing the teeth individually, we can simulate the variation that is found in nature. The lab we trust to create our restorations creates and places each tooth for a more lifelike appearance.
We know that comfort is also crucial. Poor-fitting dentures can cause problems. They may feel loose when you speak or eat, and they can cause injury to your gums, which can lead to bacterial infections. Nobody wants that!
We take care to craft your dentures to fit your gums precisely. For additional security, we can even discuss implant-retained dentures, in which dental implants are strategically placed so that your dentures will lock into place.
As time passes, you may notice changes in the way your dentures fit. This is normal. This is also why it’s important to keep up with your regular appointments with Dr. Aygen. During your check-ups, Dr. Aygen will carefully check the fit of your dentures and examine your gums to look for any signs that the dentures are no longer fitting properly. If needed, we can make adjustments here in the office or we can craft a new set of dentures.
